The president of Salahaddin University (SUH), Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, received a delegation from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

This delegation consisted of Mr. Dong-ho Kim, the Middle-East Officer at the KOICA agency, along with the director of the KOICA agency in Hawler, Mr. Kim Won Sab, and accompanied delegates. Initially the president of Salahaddin University briefly talked about all the departments of the university. Afterwards he talked about those attempts that will become the foundation for raising the scientific levels at the university and how to make the activities and information about the university available for community development.

In addition, the delegate guests talked about a project which consists of building three special needs schools in all three provinces of the Kurdistan region. These schools will start from pre-school all the way through high school. Moreover, the president of SUH  again reassured that the College of Education will provide teachers in order for this project to succeed and currently a branch concerning this matter exists at the Department of Education at the College of Education and would be able to prepare students so that they, like teachers, can teach at this school. Also present at this meeting was the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Ass. Professor, Dr. Ibrahim Ismail Hamarash, as well as the head of the Department of Education and the director for the Academic Relations at Salahaddin University.
