Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, better known as “El Chapo”, is a Mexican suspected drug lord and former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal organization formed in the coastal state of Mexico. He was recently captured and brought to the US for trial where stands accused of many counts of criminal activity.
Amazingly it turns out that the man who brought him down was none other than the cartel’s I.T. guy. NY Times reporter Alan Feuer tweeted out all the riveting details of the court case in real time.
